Accordian-style card

So this is my second video tutorial, I actually really loved this card and thought that it was so easy that everyone should be able to do it:) Also, if you want to write a message on the card, I usually write it on the back because it is a photo card and you don't want your message to be in the way.

A Day in the Life of Me

this was just a journal entry that i had to do for dance

~nothing really important~

Surprisingly after I got home from my BFF Christine’s house (I practically live there, if that tells you at all how much I’m over there), I picked up my geometry homework and whizzed right through it (I wanted to finish my bright orange duct tape bag!!) Luckily I didn’t have that much other homework, because I also had other things on my to do list (play Mario brothers, make up a new secret code, choreograph more to my dance, yell at my two dogs for barking at everything that goes down our street, make a sockmonkey, journal, find time to draw, or even check out what’s new on geekcrafts.com) I was petting one of my 3 cats, Dexter (who never leaves my side), but then I got a call from Bailey, and it ended up going from a 5-minute-talk to a 2 hour debate about library books! Haha, well it was fun anyways, and finally after it was all over, I walked in my room to go to bed and realized how much of a nerd I am with all the periodic table, physics, and Harry Potter posters I have up.:) If only everyday was like this...

Babysitting ideas

Need some babysitting ideas? Here are 41:

1.) Bake egg free cookies so they could eat some dough

2.) Go to a park or take a ball out in the yard (tennis, catch, etc.)

3.) Use bubbles, kids love chasing them

4.) Do a simple obstacle course in the backyard

5.) Do a special backyard picnic for lunch or dinner

6.) Hide a small object and have them find it-- play the hot and cold game especially if you're tired

7.) See how many jumping jacks, how long they can hop on one foot etc etc--it will tire them out

8.) Make goop/oobleck and let them play with it

9.) Put food coloring in milk, use small clean paint brushes to paint bread with the milk, put in toaster, the color will stay and they can eat their creation

Mrs. Calise's Accordian Card

Heyo!! Over the weekend, I made this cute card for my student teacher. Today is her last day
(awww) and so I thought that I could try this card. I started with a 5 1/2" by 12" piece of card stock. (light green). Then, I scored straight down at 2", 4", 8", and 10". Next, I folded the score lines forward and backward just like the picture shows. Using the measurements in the layout picture (top left)**, I stamped, cut, and glued all of the pieces onto the original 5 1/2" by 12" piece of green paper that I started with. After all of it was glued on, I opened and closed it to make sure that it worked, and then wrote my message on the far right panel.
